Online learning platform Career Anna raises Rs 3 Cr funding

Video-driven online learning platform Career Anna has raised Rs 3 crore structured financing from a group of angel investors represented by Subinder Khurana.
The company plans to use the funds raised to launch a series of pro degree online learning programs on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, DevOps and other new-technology fields.
Founded in 2014, Career Anna enables students, professionals & unemployed youth to prepare for exams, acquire skills & get into high growth careers.
Users can select their preferred career paths & job roles, undertake a program to acquire industry skills, do real-life industry projects and get an opportunity to be hired by partner companies.
“We bring in select experts and professionals from academia and industry to leverage our technology platform to create video-driven online learning courses, and then take these courses to learners with the assurance of quantitative and positive outcomes.” says Varun Saxena, CEO, Career Anna.
"We pair each student with an industry mentor/alumnus of top institutes, who provides real-world context, frequent feedback to continuously improve, resulting in 94% course completion rate, which is significantly higher than other platforms offering MOOC." adds Ayushi Marwah, Head - Operations, Career Anna.

Khurana is currently a Member of the Board at TiE Delhi, member of NASSCOM Product Council, and was earlier the Chair of TiE Entrepreneurship Nurturing Program.
